One skein of the gorgeous Fuego in Cobalto makes this warm, squishy cowl. It’s sure to keep your chin and neck warm during this Arctic outflow!

Cowls are great, quick knits that use less yarn than scarves. Here are some of my favourite patterns, all of which would looks fantastic with a couple of hanks of Rowan Fine Art, which are currently on sale at both our stores!

As the days get shorter, and knitting time becomes more limited, super bulky yarn and needles make for quick gifts!
The Arboreal Cowl, available as a free Ravelry download, uses just 106 yards of super bulky yarn and can be knit in a variety of yarns. We love it in Swagger (1 skein for $26.50) or in Borealis knit together with 2 strands of Kidsilk Haze (2 x $15.95) for amazing loft and depth of colour. The pattern also suggests holding 3 strands of worsted weight together to achieve the same gauge.
These little Cork Forest Christmas trees make an awesome hostess gift. Check out the pattern and the blog of Simply Notable a mother daughter blogging team of awesomeness!
This one ball bib is knit in Berroco Comfort Chunky. $7.49 G0 to the Berroco site for the Free Pattern Link.
