The latest shipment of Folio arrived and they’re even prettier in person! The lustrous yarn is soft yet sturdy, feels like cashmere but is a mighty workhorse thanks to the alpaca/viscose blend. Come fall in love with this new yarn, available at both stores and online!
The Arboreal Cowl, available as a free Ravelry download, uses just 106 yards of super bulky yarn and can be knit in a variety of yarns. We love it in Swagger (1 skein for $26.50) or in Borealis knit together with 2 strands of Kidsilk Haze (2 x $15.95) for amazing loft and depth of colour. The pattern also suggests holding 3 strands of worsted weight together to achieve the same gauge.
Hey Knitters? Does anyone want to do a sweater knit along? Three of us are doing the Stonecutters Cardigan. Does anyone want to do a knitalong? Let me know soon if you are interested so I can order more yarn in the Blackstone tweed ($9.95/50gm) colour of your choice.
Other yarn options are available for other budgets, animal fibre sensitivities, and wash-ability. Just let us know and we can suggest some alternatives.
A 10% discount for purchase of the entire yarn needed for this project applies. I can also ship the yarn if people wish to knit with us remotely. We can share on the blog and Ravelry group.
